The highly anticipated Tokyo Revengers season 2 episode 6 finally confirmed what fans had been dreading: Kisaki Tetta had planned to betray Takemichi and Chifuyu all along. In the previous episode, Takemichi and Chifuyu had teamed up with Kisaki and Hanma to stop Hakkai from killing his brother Taiju.

However, as they reached the church, both Kisaki and Hanma turned against Takemichi and Chifuyu, tying up Chifuyu so he couldn’t help Takemichi face off against Taiju Shiba.

Kisaki had always been a dubious character in the show, having previously planned the murder of Hinata. Despite this, Takemichi chose to accept Kisaki’s help as he realized that nobody else within the Tokyo Manji Gang would be willing to assist him and Chifuyu in their mission.

However, it was soon revealed that Kisaki had only wanted to see Takemichi in despair, and had never intended to actually help him.

Many fans are speculating that Kisaki may want something from the Black Dragon, whether it be manpower or something more sinister. There is also evidence to suggest that Kisaki had a spy within the Black Dragon ranks as an information source.

He did not hesitate to speak to a higher-ranking executive of the Black Dragon, Kokonoi, to obtain information about the leader Taiju Shiba. This information proved to be accurate as Taiju was seen going to church alone on Christmas day.

However, Kisaki’s plans did not stop at betraying Takemichi and Chifuyu. He also incited Yuzuha Shiba to come to the church, despite her having no knowledge of Hakkai’s plan to kill Taiju. Yuzuha ended up stabbing Taiju in the back, setting the stage for a potential war between Toman and the Black Dragon.

Many fans believe that Kisaki’s ultimate goal is to gain control over Toman. Given his history of wanting to control the gang, he may be planning to get some of the higher officials of the gang killed, after which he could climb further up the hierarchy.

However, it remains to be seen how the events will play out in Tokyo Revengers season 2.

The current conflict between Yuzuha and Hakkai and their older brother Taiju is a cause for concern, and could lead to a war between Toman and the Black Dragon.

It is clear that Kisaki’s betrayal will have serious consequences for all involved, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what happens next.
