With a world in constant war, there is no shortage of dark things to put our finger on Naruto, but perhaps the worst of all has gone unnoticed.

We’re talking about Shikamaru leaving an “immortal” guy without his body and buried in a deep hole. When we look closely, we realize that Shikamaru’s justice is arguably more evil than Hidan killing multiple people.

Hidan will never be found and if he remained immortal forever, he would suffer for absolutely all eternity. Shikamaru literally was the worst of demons for Hidan and that’s downright shady.

We don’t know at what moment Hidan died, or how long he managed to stay alive without the necessary sacrifices and nutrients, but it must have been enough time for a slow, long, lonely death, and that could have been so disturbing that he might have repentant of your sins.

Originally created by Masashi Kishimoto for Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, Naruto tells the story of a young ninja. With a demon sealed within him, Naruto wishes to become the leader of his village. The series ran for 700 chapters in total and was adapted into an anime by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex between the years 2002 to 2017.

Naruto became popular enough to warrant a sequel, Boruto, which takes place years after the original  Naruto series and it features the children of many of its main characters such as Naruto and Hinata.
