Zoro was the first of Luffy’s Straw Hat crew and is a much-loved character among fans. He is a swordsman whose dream is to defeat Dracule Mihawk and assume this position as the strongest swordsman in order to fulfill his promise to Kuina.

Zoro is currently very strong, but he is still far from the top, and therefore he still needs to strengthen his swordsmanship. Until his rematch with Mihawk arrives, Zoro will surely gain new powers, and here are 4.

4 – Control over the Conqueror’s Haki

Zoro’s most recent power was awakened in Wano and was Conqueror’s Haki. He used it in the fight against King and Kaido. Now Zoro can coat his weapons with Conqueror’s Haki, increasing his attack power considerably.

However, your grip on it is still pretty bad, because it’s recent. According to the swordsman, Enma is very tough and steals his Haki at great speed. Zoro still can’t wield his Enma like Oda did, so he will certainly have to improve his control over Conqueror’s Haki.

3 – The ability to see the future

When it comes to Observation Haki, Zoro has never shown much in One Piece. His specialty, in fact, is Armament Haki. But make no mistake about it, as he may still be the third strongest with Observation Haki in his crew, second only to Sanji and Luffy. With this Haki, users can gain the power to see the future, which very few people can in the series.

The reason Zoro needs to step up and develop this Haki is because he is going to face Mihawk, whose nickname was Eagle Eyes, the man who faced Shanks, whose Observation Haki allows him to see several seconds into the future. This implies that Mihawk can see the future, and because of this, Zoro certainly needs to develop this for his fight.

2 – Update on Enma

Enma is one of the strongest swords Zoro has ever wielded, as she is one of the 21 Swords of Grade O Wazamono. It was created by Shimotsuki Kozaburo, a famous blacksmith, and it can turn into a mysterious black blade. In Wano, Hitetsu states that the sword will level up, so Zoro will have an upgrade on it in the future.

As of yet, we don’t know how the black blades are created, but it seems to have something to do with Conqueror’s Haki. That is, when Zoro masters the Conqueror’s Haki and his blade undergoes its upgrade, this will be one of his greatest powers.

1 – Conqueror’s Haki Coating Nine Swords Style

Zoro has a large arsenal, but nothing beats his nine-sword-style Ashura technique. With this, Zoro developed multiple arms, being able to wield more swords, and it is said that this looked like a demonic manifestation of Zoro.

In Wano, Zoro used this technique against Kaido, which caused a deep wound in the Yonko, as without realizing it, Zoro coated his swords with Conqueror’s Haki. When Zoro consciously does this, he can surely get even stronger.
