A new trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has just been released , confirming that one of the fan-favorite characters from Fallen Order will be back to help Cal on his final journey.
The long-awaited sequel to the 2019 hit, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, was announced back in May, and hopefully fans won’t have to wait long to get a taste of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
The game will release on April 28, after a short delay that gave Respawn more time to polish up the new interactive Star Wars adventure. This will pick up five years after the Fallen Order left it, with former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis still on the run from the forces of the Empire, and this time he seems to have found a new enemy that featured in previous Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailers.
Cal will need many allies to overcome this new threat, and thankfully a familiar face from his last journey across the galaxy returns to lend his mystical abilities to the battle.
The latest story trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor dropped today, showing more of Cal’s fights against the Empire and other enemies pursuing him. At one point, Cal meets up with Merrin, the Nightsister he befriended in Fallen Order.
While hiding in a cave, Merrin compares Cal’s powers to a bonfire: they can keep him warm, but they can burn everything he loves to ashes if he’s not careful.
He also appears in a brief segment of gameplay, where it appears that he will be able to help Cal in battle by hitting enemies with his new staff and mystical powers.
