Madara was one of the greatest villains in Naruto and also one of the greatest Sharingan users in Uchiha clan history. However, his Sharingan never demonstrated a special power like that of other known Uchihas. The unique ability used in the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations game may be the clue to Madara’s special power.
What Sharingan power does Madara not have?
The Uchiha clan’s Sharingan is known to have several different abilities, which are very efficient in battle. Their basic skills range from reading moves, copying jutsus, and creating genjutsus. Its evolved form, known as the Mangekyou Sharingan, provides even greater powers, such as Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and Susanoo.
However, these eyes only awaken when the user suffers severe emotional trauma from the death of a loved one. Madara awakened his Mangekyou Sharingan at a young age, but the only power he displayed was Susanoo. He has never used Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi or a unique ability of his Sharingan.
The power of Madara’s Mangekyou Sharingan
Although the Naruto manga never featured this ability, Madara showed his special power in the game Storm Generations. In the game, the unique power of his Mangekyou Sharingan allows him to reverse time in combat. He uses this power when he starts fighting Hashirama and sees his defeat, so he reverses time to prevent it.
This fight appeared in one of the game’s animations, which was created by the Pierrot studio. Masashi Kishimoto has also worked on the anime’s script together with Pierrot on a few occasions. Therefore, Madara’s power was probably created by Pierrot, based on Kishimoto’s tutelage or ideas.
