Boruto has recently confirmed that there are Otsutsukis that are considered to be deities, with their abilities being labeled as divine miracles, and Naruto Shippuden may have hinted at this.

The current arc of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is delving deeper and deeper into the history of the Otsutsuki clan , but what few may have realized is that Naruto Shippuden may have given away a major spoiler on the matter.

As revealed in Boruto, there are extremely powerful beings in the Otsutsuki clan who are considered true gods, and Naruto Shippuden most likely featured two of these gods.

These statues appear in Kaguya Otsutsuki’s dimension and may be of Otsutsukis who reached god level for the simple reason that they are being exalted.

Boruto has only confirmed one Otsutsuki that has reached this level, Shibai, who has sacrificed countless worlds to collect Chakra Fruits to eat them. And after several cycles of evolution, he was considered to have ascended to a higher dimensional level.
