The story follows Goku and his friends as they face new challenges on a cosmic scale, including battles with gods and powerful cosmic beings. The series also introduces new characters such as the God of Destruction Bills and his assistant Whis, as well as further exploring the concept of “power level”, with characters reaching heights of strength never seen before. Dragon Ball Super also spawned a movie, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which introduced the legendary Super Saiyan Broly, but this time in canonical form.
