Attack on Titan is one of the most dramatic, harsh and raw anime that exists today; but no matter how intense it can get, the series always manages to get cute with the help of the Sanrio characters ; this time specifically, with the lazy egg yolk Gudetama who will soften the heart even of Eren Jaeger himself .

It is not the first time that Attack on Titan has collaborated with Sanrio; since in the past the Hello Kitty characters reached the work of Hajime Isayama to become warriors of the Exploration Corps alongside Eren , Mikasa, Armin and more.

Incredible plushies and other collectible items were released for fans of both the anime and the Japanese brand. And now history repeats itself; Well, Gudetama is already coming to the world of Shingeki no Kyojin as shown in this new official image.

As you can see, Gudetama has become friends with the protagonists of Attack on Titan. Eren seems to be having a chill moment with the egg just like Levi; while Mikasa, Armin, and Hange seem to be more fond of the character.

For now we do not know what will happen with this collaboration, such as what products will be released and when they will go on sale if any; so for now we can only mention that this crossover comes for the 10th anniversary of the anime which is getting closer to reaching its definitive end ; with part three of the Final Season of which at the moment we have been able to see Special 1 that lasted one hour.

Special episode 2 will arrive in the fall of this year; and is expected to mark the grand conclusion of Hajime Isayama’s work now animated by MAPPA .
