Today is the first Saturday of the month so don’t forget to head over to your local Home Depot with your 5-12 year old and participate in the Kids Workshops.  Kids have so much fun making somthing they can take home, they also get a orange apron and a pin to show which workshops they have attended, and you will love it because it is free.  This runs from 9am – noon, and I sugguest you try to get their early as they might run out of projects as the day goes on.

The Aptos Academy is holding a Health Fair today from 10am – 3pm to help us all remember Green Body, Green Mind.  This is a great event for the family with games and lots of information about how to live a green life.

Have you ever seen the cement ship at Seacliffe Beach in Aptos and wanted to know more about it.  Today is the 16th Annual Festival at the Cement Ship where you will be able to learn more about this unique ship.  From 11am – 4pm go and enjoy the music, fun and food.  This is a Free event but you may have to pay for parking.

Scotts Valley Sports Center offers a Free Hockey Class to children 12 and under.  This is a fun time for your kids to get familiar with roller hockey, learn about the rules and the fun of the game.  Class starts at 4pm but show up a little early if you need to borrow gear.
