Kids just keep growing and then they need new clothes. Tomorrow morning is your chance to swap out your kids out grown clothes and pick up some that will actually fit your kids. Soquel cooperative preschool will be hosting this clothing swap, they will even donate any extra clothes that don’t get picked up that day.

Are you crazy about mushrooms? Bring the whole family to the Santa Cruz Fungus Fair and you will learn more about fungi then you ever thought possible. Your kids will get to pick what color mushroom they want to get painted on their face, you can enjoy culinary demonstations, or you can even bring your own mushrooms to have them identified.
Where: Louden Nelson Community Center in Santa Cruz

It’s National Coffee day and you need to go out and celebrate. 7-Eleven will be celebrating by offering free coffee from 7-11am. Krispy Kreme will also be celebrating with free coffee today. There are more celebrations happening around. Let us know who else is celebrating this caffeine filled day today.

The Clam Chowder Cook-Off is happening tomorrow at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. As always the Boardwalk is admission free. You can just walk along and enjoy the smell of the different chowders or you can buy a tasting ticket and sample the chowders of your choice. Be sure to arrive before 1pm if you want to taste the chowders and stay until 4 to find out if your favorite is the winner.
